FlashEDU legal documents
Everything a district needs for a privacy and security review of FlashEDU, and the agreement in force for teachers who sign up without one. Questions, or a request for a document not published here, go to education@flashmath.io.
Student Data Privacy Agreement (DPA)
FlashMath's standard student data privacy agreement, following the Student Data Privacy Consortium's National Data Privacy Agreement structure. Covers data ownership, permitted use, AI provider restrictions, breach notification, and deletion, with a change log of what changed since the previous version.
Version 1.3 · Effective 2026-10-10
Student Data Privacy Agreement for Private Schools
FlashMath's student data privacy agreement for a private school that is not a local educational agency: the same commitments about the service, adapted for a school to which FERPA may not apply, with the school's COPPA authorization and how parents' requests are handled. School districts, and charter schools that are their own local educational agency, sign the Student Data Privacy Agreement.
Version 1.1 · Effective 2026-10-10
Education Privacy Policy
How FlashMath collects, uses, discloses, keeps and deletes personal information in FlashEDU and FlashClass, for schools, educators, parents and students in the United States.
Version 2.1 · Effective 2026-10-10
Education Terms of Service
The terms that govern FlashClass and FlashEDU plans: plans and seats, school responsibilities, data use limits, billing, renewal and cancellation, and data export and deletion.
Version 2.1 · Effective 2026-09-28
Trust Center
How student data is protected, in plain language: encryption, district-separated records, access limits, staff MFA, the audit trail, deletion, AI features and the companies that process student data.
Version 1.0 · Effective 2026-09-28
Subprocessor and Security Overview
Every third party that processes Student Data on FlashMath's behalf, and the security practices applied to that data. Incorporated by reference into the DPA (Article II.5).
Available to districts under review. Email education@flashmath.io and we will send the current version, which names every subprocessor with access to Student Data. Company gives at least 30 days' notice before adding a new one.
FlashClass Teacher Agreement
What a teacher accepts before setting up a classroom: the COPPA school-consent attestation, the data processing and FERPA summary, and the educator terms. This is the agreement in force for teachers who sign up directly, without a district.
